I'm Nick and this is my blog. In the fall, I'll be a sophomore at Indiana University. My freshman year in Bloomington was great. While I wait for next semester I decided to take some credit hours at IUPUI since I'll be living home in Plainfield. My major is Elementary Education. Education runs in the family, plus working with kids is great. I'm hoping I can find some work too this summer, but we all know that's easier said then done. In the meantime though I'll make sure to play some tennis and see friends that I haven't seen since last summer. Besides that, I'll just kick it by playing some Mario Kart and enjoying the nights.
Creating this blog wasn't too much of a challenge for me. I'm pretty familiar with Facebook and Blogger works slightly similar to that. I also have several other accounts on different Web 2.0 websites. The big difference is between those and Blogger is that this website offers a lot more customization. I enjoy creating my personal webpage especially with several different options to go about doing it.

Hi Nick! When I saw your name on the class roster, I didn't think it was you because I didn't know your first name was Paul. Then I saw your picture with the Boney brothers and thought, "it's a small world". Just to let everyone else know, I know Nick because I was a paraprofessional aide for another student and we were in the same precalculus class together last year.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you were going into elementary education. What age group do you prefer? We really do need more young men in the teaching profession.
I'm at IU too! So, we'll probably see each other in a class at some point in the future. Which classes have you taken so far? I had a fairly easy schedule last semester, and next semester's going to be a bit more difficult, so that should be interested.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to find a summer job too...that's not going so well =/ But I'm continuing to search. Good luck finding something!
Nick thats awesome that you want to be an el ed teacher. Most people going into i are females so mixing in some males will be a good fit for the youngsters. Good luck on finding a summer job. Its a lot harder than you would think because most place do not want to hire someone for a couple of months so good luck! Look forward to reading more from you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nick. I like that you added some gadgets to the blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Nick, While I was reading through your blog I noticed that you are into biking in the woods. My cousin helped build some biking trails on his friend's property in New York. He has a video on youtube of the ride which I'm going to find for you and send over. It's totaly crazy and I'm sure amazing but you won't see me doing the tricks that they do. Good luck with the summer job search!
